Campus
?

For the 2nd year, the Luxembourg City Film Festival will propose a weekend of professionalisation to the
students of the Great Region.
Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd, students in the audiovisual domain from the Luxembourg border countries
will have the chance to enjoy different moments of networking (conferences, meetings and masterclasses)
and avant-première screenings with guests.
These events are aimed at film students interested in contemporary artistic works (fiction, documentary
and 2D-3D animation films). Specific moments are also planned for each field.

Overview
of
the
programme

- MEET THE PROS (Saturday, March 2nd, 11 am-1 pm, Casino - Forum d’Art contemporain) – an informative
session focusing on audiovisual careers. Luxembourgish professionals from various fields will interact with
the students from the BTS Cinema and Audiovisual. The round table will be followed by a networking
event.
- Panel: THE EVOLUTION OF THE AUDIOVISUAL FIELD (Sunday, March 3rd, neimënster - Centre Culturel
de Rencontre Abbaye de Neumünster), an overview of the cinema industry, featuring members of the
Europa Film Festival and Europa International associations.
- Masterclass MOVIE CRITIC AND FILM ANALYSIS – featuring an international film critic (Sunday, March
3rd, Casino - Forum d’Art contemporain) - a workshop aimed at students studying film theory, history, and
aesthetics.
- ANIMATION’S MEETING (Sunday, March 3rd, Casino - Forum d’Art contemporain) avant-premières and
meetings with the Luxembourgish professionals specialized in animation and VR.
- JOB DATING (Sunday, March 3rd, Cercle Cité) workshop featuring the most important Luxembourgish
animation studios. 

A Virtual Reality Pavilion will be organised by the Film Fund Luxembourg. This Pavilion will showcase
original immersive experiences of great artistic quality, offering a unique opportunity to discover unique
and daring VR works selected and awarded at esteemed festivals like Venice and Tribeca.
